WV State Police have a new place to call home.
Trooper have a new work station in Clendenin, West Virginia.
About a half dozen trooper will use the new substation.
The new location will help extend their services in that area of Kanawha County.
Sgt. Michael Baylous of the WV State police says, "I think this is good for the community because it allows our troopers to be up here more often instead of having to go back to South Charleston to do some of the tasks that they need to take care of."
The new post is located along Maywood Avenue, in Clendenin.
