Deputies say a sleeping driver caused an accident on Corridor G Thursday morning.
It happened about 7:30 at the intersection of Sand Fork Road.
Deputies tell us the driver of a pickup truck fell asleep, hit the back of a Frontier Communications pickup truck, and shot across four lanes and down a hill.
Debris from that impact hit a Volvo, trapping the driver inside. He had to be cut out and was taken to the hospital with an apparent arm injury.
Witnesses say it was quite a scene.
Traffic was slow-moving for a few hours while crews cleaned up all the debris.
