Fire destroys an abandoned house on the west side of St. Albans.
It happened just before 11:30a.m. Friday morning on Fairview Drive.
Firefighters had a difficult time getting to the house; the path leading to it was just a gravel road overgrown with trees and bushes.
Firefighters say the blaze appears to be suspicious.
No one was hurt. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
