Major changes are coming to Interstate 64 Saturday. The newly constructed I-64 bridge linking Dunbar and South Charleston will open Saturday for the first time, but only as an eastbound exit ramp to MacCorkle Avenue. All eastbound traffic is expected to shift to the bridge in October, but for now it's West Virginia's longest exit ramp. Caution is advised. Finishing work on the bridge will be going on around the single lane that's open. The whole project won't be complete for 18 months.
