Update:
A big heart and a blank check saved the life of a 9 year old Pitbull shot with arrows.
Owner, Jeremy Williams, found his home broken into and his dog shot twice with arrows Monday night.
He didn't have the money to pay for his dog's treatment.
After seeing his story on Eyewitness News, numerous people reached out and helped Williams. A teacher at George Washington High School gave Williams a blank check for the operation.
Williams also received other donations from concerned viewers.
Toby underwent surgery and is doing well.
He is expected to make a full recovery.
