Three men are under arrest and federal authorities are looking for five others wanted in a massive drug ring.
According to an unsealed indictment in federal court in Huntington, WV, the group distributed over 1,000 kilograms of marijuana between Huntington and Nitro, from the summer of 2002 and May 2010.
Christopher Clark, Jeffery Perry and Mark Chappalear were arrested Monday night in Columbus, OH. Clark is considered the leader of the group.
Federal authorities are still looking for Jay Van Meenen, Russell Nelson, Rosa Imedla Ledezma, Barry Adkins and Richard Flemming.
Federal authorities are asking that the group forfeits any property obtained in the sale of the drugs. That includes $10 million, property in Zanesville, OH, two vehicles and a trailer.
Clark, Perry and Chappalear will be arraigned Tuesday afternoon in Ohio.
