Folks all over the country are working together today to eliminate racism. More than 200,000 people are expected to participate in events today at part of "Stand Against Racism" Day.
Locally, there are about 60 events going on to promote unity. Charleston city officials and law enforcement came out for a ceremony to renew their pledge against racism.
The events are sponsored by the YWCA in Charleston. You can find more events on their web site at "www.ywcacharleston.org."
