PLANE CRASH Flight Crashes With Three WVU Fans On Board

A small plane carrying three WVU fans crashed Sunday night in Bullskin Township in Pennsylvania .
David Springgate of Morgantown and his passengers, brothers Scott and Tim Smith, were traveling home after flying to Buffalo to watch the Mountaineers play in the NCAA tournament.
Springgate, who was the pilot of the Cessna 172 malfunctioned during the trip home and would not allow fuel to flow from the left wing.
Springgate and both Smith brothers, who also reside in Morgantown were wearing seatbelts and were able to free themselves from the plane before nearby neighbors and emergency personnel could arrive on scene.
