Dozens of new jobs are headed to West Virginia. Governor Joe Manchin announced Friday that Armstrong World Industries plans to build a 30,000 square foot mineral wool plant next to Century Aluminum in Ravenswood.
The project will cost around $30 million to $35 million and will create 40 to 45 jobs.
Governor Manchin says Armstrong's decision is "tremendous, tremendous news for the Ravenswood area."
Ravenswood lost more than 600 jobs when Century Aluminum closed its plant in February 2009.
