Hurricane High School is now offering lock boxes to people living in the city so they can safely story pills away from children, teenagers and robbers.
The boxes are free, except for a $5 deposit that will be returned when the box is turned back in.
The school's Drug Free 24/7 Club is heading up the project as a way to combat prescription drug use among students.
St. Albans High School also offers lock boxes to people living there.
If you live in either city limit and want a box, just go to the school and fill out the paperwork.
