Weighing in on losing power.
Dozens of people expressed their anger over increases in their power bills in the wake of massive outages this winter.
During December, hundreds of thousands of Appalachian Power and Allegheny Power customers lost power across the region.
Now, nearly 4 months following the restoration of power , The Public Service Commission is ordering a general investigation into Appalachian Power Company and Allegheny Power's, widespread outages.
A series of public hearings, this one at The Southern Community College Logan Campus, is allowing people to voice their opinions.
People were also upset about Appalachian Powers proposed rate hike of 8.2 percent in July, but the company says that increase is to do with the cost of coal not the power outages.
There will be another public hearing scheduled for march 18th at Iaeger High School at 6 p.m.
