Emergency dispatchers tell Eyewitness News that AEP crews are working to restore a main power line that went down just before 7p.m. Monday evening. The power outage is affecting customers between Sixth Street and Sixteenth Street in addition to Fifth Avenue all the way to the Ohio River. It is sporadically coming back on. We're told nearly two thousand customers were without power.
