A Hurricane man is charged in a strange convenience store robbery.
57-year-old Ranson Ward was arrested for the March 10th holdup of a 7-11 convenience store in Nitro.
Police allege he passed a note to a clerk that said " I need 50 dollars now!".
Court documents say police found the getaway truck at Ward's Mill Creek Crossing home and that several people identified him from store surveillance video.
