A major roadway shuts down during the morning commute after two tractor trailers collide.
It happened just before 8:00 Monday morning on Route 94 in front of the I-77 entrance ramp in Marmet.
Firefighters tell us the trucks were headed in opposite directions when they somehow rammed into each other. They're still investigating the cause.
One of the drivers had minor injuries but refused transport.
The delay created a pretty big mess for drivers. Marmet firefighter Bradley Tackett said, "We have thousands and thousands, especially at this time of the morning, for the morning commute. We've got people from Boone County coming over to work in Charleston, so obviously it's a big headache right now for the morning commute."
It took a couple hours for crews to clean up the wreck. They also had to bring in some sand to soak up leaked fuel.
