As water continues to move downstream and eventually into the Ohio River, flooding continues along the Kanawha and Coal Rivers.
Flood Warnings are out for Boone, Lincoln and Kanawha counties until 8:30am Sunday.
The National Weather Service says the Coal River at Tornado will crest near 25.5' early Sunday morning before receding back into its banks. At a crest of 25.5', water begins to cover the state highway just down from the Tornado Bridge. Water also cuts off Smith Creek Rd and Ferrell Rd approximately 1-2 miles from the bridge.

The water will continue to make it's way down to the Ohio River, with crests expected Tuesday night in Point Pleasant at Moderate Flood Stage and then in Portsmouth Wednesday evening above Flood Stage.
