There is some house cleaning going on at the Best Western in Charleston.
The Hotel placed two employees on paid leave after allegations of sexual assault. Kelsey Simmons said her boss, Ted Rhim, pushed her against a wall kissed her and touched her crotch. Simmons is 17 and Rhim is 49. Rhim serves as the hotels director of sales and market and said Simmons is lying. He said there was no sexual assault and her allegations stem from an incident on Sunday where she was reprimanded for poor work and sent home. There is back-story between these two employees. Simmons is relatively new to the hotel but says they have spent time together outside of work. Rhim said he would do favors for Simmons like offering rides to work and other places and giving her furniture for her apartment. Rhim said, " I help all my employees. The Simmons' are just after money and I will fight this tooth and nail." Rhim faces first degree sexual assault charges.
