Christopher Walker's girlfriend was not pleased to see our camera rolling during her boyfriend's arrest, but Walker took advantage of the face time to state what he says is his innocence.
"I was unaware I had a court hearing. I didn't know. I was just picked up on a capias last week, or two weeks ago and they didn't say anything to me." says Walker.
Although he may have been picked up last week, Walker says he never tried to steal copper water pipes from a house, where police found him soaking wet.
As soon as police arrested Walker on the west side of Charleston they made their way to Chesapeake to act on another tip.
A tipster said Frederick Lynch was staying at a home on the riverbank in Chesapeake. But once he saw the cruisers police think he took off running.
Lynch never showed up for court after he allegedly sexually assaulted a 16 year old girl.
But Lynch isn't the only one still on the run.
Timothy Stevens failed an instant drug test after he allegedly stole about 40 thousand dollars worth of copper wire. His last known addresses are in Gallagher and Marmet.
