The regular session for the West Virginia State Legislature is nearing the end.
The session wraps up on Saturday.
Meanwhile, some legislators say not many bills have been passed that actually help the average West Virginian.
There are still some issues on the table in both the Senate and House of Delegates.
The school bus safety bill is in a Senate committee; a house committee is debating a proposal that would require doctors to perform ultrasounds before abortions.
However, many bills died in committees long ago like a bill that would ban texting while driving.
