A woman's mission to Haiti leads an entire company to lend a helping hand.
Shelly Hodges is a Fruth Pharmacist in Nitro. Every year she goes to Haiti with other local doctors and nurses as part of the friends of Fort Liberte mission trip. Thousands of people fleeing the quake ravaged Port Au Prince found refuge in Fort Liberte and those people are coming with a number of medical problems. Some people have deadly infections. Hodges said, " We really try to give each person our attention and make a difference in their lives. I think we truly save lives when we are there. "
Hodges compassion led her bosses to follow suit. Fruth's giving 12,000 prescription doses of medicines to take on the trip. The company also started a campaign in all 25 of its stores to get customers to help. You can make a donation at any Fruth Pharmacy
