Students at Rock Branch elementary in Putnam County are proving that every little bit helps when it comes to relief efforts in Haiti.
The school has about two hundred and fifty students. Back on February 1st students began raising money for the American Red Cross all in support of relief efforts for the earthquake that devastated Haiti back in January.
Students raised more than 2,000 dollars in just one week. The children were rewarded with extra recess and some even earned a free ticket to Kids Night Out that will be held Friday, February 12th.
Students say they hope the money will help build new homes for the people of Haiti.
