A man in St. Albans says he was stabbed in the face when he walked out on his porch.

Police and EMS workers are trying their best to piece together what happened but they're struggling with the victim.

The patient is moving too much to get the first IV in place, so the nurse gives it another try, but the patient's antics don't stop.

The nurse takes more drastic measures and brings law enforcement into the back of the ambulance.

The deputy says the man is intoxicated so legally he has no rights and must go to the hospital for treatment.

The ambulance begins heading toward Thomas Memorial Hospital.

But the headaches aren't over.

The patient asks if he can smoke a cigarette, continually tries to take his seatbelt off, and then complains he needs to go to the bathroom.

Finally the ambulance arrives at Thomas with a stable patient, and thankfully there's a bathroom just around the corner.
