A Delta Connection flight was aborted about 600 feet from the end of the run way at Yeager Airport Monday morning.
The plane sat on the run way with flat right tires until about 2 P.M.
No flights could take off or land until the plane was moved, so passengers were delayed most of the day.
This is the second aborted flight in less than a month.
The first happened on January 19, 2010 when a U.S. Airways plane skidded into the EMAS.
The concrete prevented the plane and more than 30 passengers from going off the side of the mountain.
Now, the EMAS has to be repaired.
U.S. Airways is paying to fix it; work was slated to start Monday, but cold wet weather has put that on hold.
Crews need at least 48 hours of dry weather before repair work can begin.
