Super Bowl XLIV brought football fans to a frenzy and most local sports bars booming business.
Area bars like the Athletic Club inside the Embassy Suits hotel in Charleston were packed with people watching the Saints beat the Colts Sunday night. Most people took in the game and all the extra festivities that usually go along with football. Saints Fan, Woody Woodrum said, "It's great it's football's time to shine and all of us are here to watch it happen."
The Super Bowl is traditionally one of the most watched television events of the year.
