Whether it's the homeless, families, the underemployed, unemployed or just someone looking for a hot meal...Manna Meal has been providing breakfast and lunch for more than three decades.
On average, volunteers serve about 350 meals a day here.
The program depends heavily on donations. Recently, cereal supplies were dwindling. Manna Meal goes through about nine boxes day. But a massive effort by Charleston Catholic High School students resulted in two truckloads of donations and full cereal pantry.
Manna Meal accepts donations online via paypal at its website, www.mannameal.com. Or you can just write them a check. The program's directors say it is only through the contributions of concerned people that they can provide service to those in need.
