High Water Flooding Reported Across Eastern Mountains

Heavy rains and melting snow have combined to cause flooding across parts of Nicholas and Webster counties.
The National Weather Service reports flooding in Bergoo in Webster county after the Gauley River jumped its bank and water flowed into the Bergoo and Bolair areas. The Williams River has also flooded parts of the Cowen area.
Flooding has also been reported in parts of Nicholas county especially in the Richwood area. We're told the water is coming out of the Cherry River and caused a few evacuations. Flooding is also being reported along the Greenbrier River.
Flood Warnings continue for Nicholas and Webster counties until early Tuesday morning. A Flood Watch is out for all of the eastern mountain counties until the noon hour.
