The program KEYS 4 Healthy Kids just got a $360,000 grant over four years to help curb childhood obesity.
Money was handed out to 41 sites across the country from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
Charleston is the only community in West Virginia to get funding.
The KEYS program is aimed at teaching children to eat healthy and exercise, so the obesity rates will drop.
One of the top priorities for the funding will be targeting low income families on the East End and West Side, and helping establish better eating habits.
