Governor Joe Manchin surveyed last weekends winter storm damage.
Tuesday afternoon, Manchin along with Appalachian Power crews, visited Kanawha Counties hardest hit area. That's in Sissonville.
Manchin spoke with people without power along the way.
He encouraged them they will see power soon.
Still it's been a rough road in the cold for the thousands still in the dark.
In this particular area of Sissonville, crews say people here should get their power back on within the next two days. More than 10 thousand Appalachian Power Customers are still without power in Kanawha County.
