Fifteen lucky West Virginia students have a jump start with their college tuition.
The group was selected from the first ever Smart529 "When I Grow Up." essay contest and included a future zoologist, vet, engineer and several others.
Each regional winner gets a $500 Smart529 account. One of those winners was even selected for an extra $4500 for the account.
Winfield Elementary school kindergartner Logan Cottle says he wants to be an animal doctor when he grows up. He says he wants to take care of Scooby Doo and other animals when they get sick. Dad Andy says his son is very creative and is always telling good stories. He says they are thrilled Logan won money for his Smart529 account.
