Blasted by winds that hit with speeds up to 74 miles per hour, the damage mounted up in West Virginia. More than 60,000 lost power in the Mountain State. A power change caused by a tree into a line burned down Jim and Ruth Midkiff's house in Alum Creek Wednesday. Winds created dangerous driving conditions for tall trucks and recreational vehicles.
