Husband Held Shooting in Dunbar Sends Injures Woman

We now know the name of the man police have in custody after he shot his wife in Dunbar this morning.
Forty year old Daniel Shaver is accused of shooting his wife 20 year old Amber Dawn Stalnaker around 9:00 on Tuesday morning at 411 19th Street in Dunbar.
Stalnaker was reportedly shot in the shoulder by Shaver. He was transporting his wife to the hospital when he was pulled over by police on 12th Street.
Shaver told police the shooting was accidental and Dunbar Police say that written statements by both he and Stalnaker agree with that.
A witness heard a loud argument between the couple just before a shot was fired.
Stalnaker is under evaluation and in stable condition at Charleston General.
Shaver faces wanton endangerment charges. He is being held at the South Central Regional Jail.
