State wildlife officials expect 280,000 hunters will hit the woods this deer season. Buck gun season is under way in all counties except Logan, Mingo, McDowell and Wyoming. Each hunter can bag two bucks over the next two weeks. The season ends Dec. 5. Deer hunting has a 233 million dollar economic impact in West Virginia. Mason County is always one of the top counties for deer killed.
