Kim Creel Likes to joke about taking her work home.
Creel runs an after school program for at risk kids in Charleston. Through the program she met and eventually adopted three kids. Creel said, " It changed my life. I just fill fulfilled, like it was God giving me a chance to be a mom."
November 21st is National Adoption Day. It's designed to bring attention to the more than 100,00 kids in America waiting to be adopted. Creel said she wants her story to make others sit up and pay attention to kids needing families. She said, "It just feels good to make a difference in somebody's life and in return they've made a difference in mine."
