The list of candidates for the recently vacated position of head boys basketball coach at South Charleston High School has whittled down to five.
The five applicants will be interviewed Thursday to replace former head coach Bobby Dawson who stepped down last week after 24 years with the Black Eagles.
The five are Winfield's basketball coach Pat McGinnis...West Virginia Tech star Ron Beatty...Former Riverside basketball coach Duane Estep...Poca Varsity basketball Assistant coach Vic Herbert....and 1973 State player of the year Dennis Harris.
