The Planet Green series "Living with Ed" showcases actor and environmentalist Ed Begley, Junior and his wife Rachelle.
It chronicles Begley's efforts to live a carbon-neutral life.
But Begley's concerns go far beyond his backyard. He says there is no room in an environmentally conscious world for mountaintop removal mining.
However, Begley doesn't go so far as to completely condemn mining. However, he says he wants to see coal extracted from the ground in responsible ways to help meet the nation's energy needs.
