Saturday marks the four years anniversary from when a Dunbar woman was discovered on the freeway in the back of a speeding car.
There are several unanswered questions surrounding Clorissa Fields' death and her loved ones are seeking justice. Family friend Albert Wilson spoke with Eyewitness News. Wilson said, "We just try to keep her in our minds and in our hearts." He said West Virginia State Police told him as recently as this month that Clorissa's case is still alive.
This story began in September 2005 when a State Trooper stopped Raymond Richardson for going 85 miles an hour on Interstate 79 and discovered Fields' body in the car with six stab wounds. Richardson told police he was taking fields to the hospital. Investigators said Fields was killed in a fight with another woman in Clay County near Big otter who claimed self defense. Fields' Mother Karen Stone said, " Until there's something done you can't start healing. It's like a big open gaping wound.
Clorissa Fields would have been 29 years old this year.
