For Clyde Davis, a 22 hour drive from Oklahoma City is just a part of the job when it comes to putting smiles on kid's faces.
Clyde David, Feed the Children, "Seems like I've done a good days work for my boss man." Feed the Children donated enough food, cleaning and hygiene supplies for 400 families in the Delbarton area. For Susan Fish and her five children, the help couldn't come at a better time. Susan Fish, Delbarton, "It has been really really bad with the flooding and the gas prices going up, food prices going up." Eight-year-old Seth, a man of few words, can't wait. Seth Smith, Delbarton, "Excited to go in that place." Keeping the organized chaos moving is no small feat. After getting food, children got to pick out a backpack full of supplies just in time for the new school year. Susan Fish, "It cost a lot just from backpacks. It would be a hundred dollars for me." Then, they could get free haircuts for a stylish look. Fish says not having to spend money on school supplies is a weight off her shoulders. Susan Fish, "I could get them more clothes, pay more bills." Operation Hope is the brain child of Jamie Carte. For Carte, it's a homecoming and way for her ministry to reach out to many who need it. Jamie Carte, Jamie Carte Ministries, "We are wanting to just really show the people in this region that there is hope. That Gd has a good plan for them. And he has a hope for their future."
