Robert Jason Hill says there's no possible way he could've beat someone up with a baseball bat.
When asked what his alibi was, he replied, "Ain't no tellin' 'em nothin. I was out of state."
Hill says he was set up. "Oh, I have a real good idea. I just don't have time to tell the story."
But his criminal complaint says he repeatedly hit someone outside of an athletic club back in 2004. After his arrest the court also found a capias for simple possession of drugs. He says he was unaware of it.
Hill was also one of the few fugitives who thanked us for talking to him
Nonetheless, Robert Jason Hill marks our 148th capture here on the Fugitive Files.
We are still looking for some other fugitives.
Jimmy Carpenter is wanted for allegedly stealing over 16 hundred dollars from the Western Branch Diesel on MacCorkle Avenue in South Charleston. And his criminal complaint says he tried to make a profit off his steal by selling the stolen car parts as scrap at local recycling centers. Carpenter is 5'3" 175 pounds. His last known address is on Blue Creek Road in Elkview.
Paula Stotler is wanted for violating her parole after she was caught driving drunk and forging checks at an Upshur County night club. She's 5'5" 135 pounds. Her last known address is at the Oxford House in Dunbar.
