A teenage girl is dead after a car accident.
The Greenup County Sheriff's Department says 18-year-old Cassandra Neace of Worthington died when she lost control of her car, and it went over an embankment and hit a tree.
The accident happened on Alcorn Road in Greenup Sunday night.
Investigators say Neace died at the scene and wasn't wearing a seatbelt.
