Firefighters set a home on fire in Teays Valley -- on purpose. It was all part of live burn training exercise.
Firefighters from Teays Valley, Charleston, Clendenin and other departments took part the training. The vacant home in the Beechwood Estates neighborhood was given to the Teays Valley Volunteer Fire Department for training by the home owners association. Neighbors pooled their money to buy the home which sat vacant after flooding several times.
Firefighters learned what it is like to go inside to battle a house fire.
