West Virginia native and country music star Kathy Mattea will be home performing for some 4th of July festivities.

The Cross Lanes native will be in Ripley, and 10 % of the sales of Mattea's merchandise will go to the Jackson County Community Foundation.

Mattea's new album "Coal" was inspired by the Sago Mine Disaster.
