One suspect is in custody and another is still on the loose after breaking into a Cross Lanes store.
Police say two suspects kicked in the door at the Dollar General store on Doc Bailey Road.
They tried to get the safe out but couldn't.
Then about an hour later a witness in the area called police and reported a strange noise and seeing two men leaving the Debbie G's bar on Big Tyler Road.
The witness followed behind the suspects until police could catch up.
One of the suspects was caught but the other ran away into the woods on Woodward Drive in North Charleston
