Spring is officially here and that means the Kanawha County Commission will be holding the annual Spring Clean Up.
The event lets western Kanawha county residents and will be held on April 18, 2009 in Cross Lanes on Cross Lanes Drive between Harbor Freight and Family Dollar. The event runs from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m..
Items accepted; large appliances, air conditions, 10 tires with a West Virginia Identification Card, recyclables, newspapers, junk mail and metals.
Items not accepted; gas tanks, hazardous waste, propane tanks and paint.
