"It gets a little expensive, but it's not too bad," Chad Baumgardner said. "The girls love it, I don't care how much it costs."
Baumgardner pays for it all...cheerleading practice, uniforms...and not to mention travel expenses. But he, along with other fathers, say it's all about the kids and seeing them perform makes it easy not to flip out about money.
"As long as she's having fun, I'll pay whatever," he said.
"It's kind of difficult at times, but it's all worth it in the long-run," Harold Jones said.
"Giving the kids an opportunity to get out here and perform and have fun, I would do it over and over," Wayne Wolfembarker said.
And even more important to these dads than footing the bill...supporting their children.
"We just have fun with it, the little girls eat it up, I'm just a good ol' fun dad," Baumgardner said.
A total of 62 cheerleading teams from all over the Tri-State competed at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena Sunday.
