There was no question who everyone was rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday night at the Embassy Suites in Charleston.

And because spectators seemed to be pulling for the black and gold, the management at Embassy Suites was more than happy to appease them with some Pittsburgh themed items on the menu.

Manager Chris Bostic says, "A dollar fifty drafts, gold and black for the Steelers. It's a Steelers crowd. We're pretty much always sold out on Steeler football games on a normal Sunday."

But Bostic adds with the economy in its current low state you have to find things that will go easy on the wallet.

"I think that we've hit on a nice price point for everybody. You get a dozen wings for 3 bucks. You can have a few beers for under 10 bucks." explains Bostic.

And those deals definitely sit well with customers like Andrew Lucas and his family of five.

"The prices are good. This is one of the cheapest places we could find." says Lucas.

The American public aren't the only ones watching the dollar this year though. Super Bowl tickets were significantly lower than in the past. And some big companies like General Motors and FedEx pulled their tv ads that were to air during the Super Bowl, even though prices had been lowered for the memorable spots.

"The economy is in bad shape so I think people are definitely watching what they spend." says Steeler fan, Chet Edwards.

But for the big game, whether it's in a restaurant or in the privacy of home, it's nice to just kick back and watch a little football.

"You gotta splurge a little bit every now and then and have a good time." laughs Edwards.
