Charleston Police say a teenage boy is now behind bars for allegedly shooting a pregnant woman, costing her the life of her unborn child.
Police say the young man took off west down Washington Street after he allegedly shot Nastasha Folden in the Shop and Go parking lot. Police were able to track him down at the intersection of Smith and Leon Sullivan Way.
An eyewitness at the gas station, who doesn't want to be identified tells us he saw how it started. He says the two were arguing outside in the parking lot. He went inside to buy his wife cigarettes and was told the teen was outside waving a gun around.
The man says he then ran outside to protect his family and drove away. He says he saw the teen point the gun inside a green mini van and fire off a couple rounds.
Bystander Kayla Biller tells us it scares her when things like this happen, because she say's its a sign of the world changing for the worse.
Police say the suspect could face numerous charges.
