The Obama campaign sent in a heavy hitter to West Virginia Saturday morning. Former President Bill Clinton made a campaign stop in Beckley.
Clinton urged people to vote for Obama saying he has the right philosophy to lead the country forward. The former president also gave his seal of approval on Obama's economic and healthcare plans.
But some Obama supporters are disappointed the candidate hasn't made more appearances in West Virginia. Others say Clinton's seal of approval on Obama's plans means a great deal considering the economic prosperity the country had during Clinton's years in the White House.
This was the first visit to the state by Clinton since the May primary.
