With Election Day in her sight, Senator Hillary Clinton stopped at Ohio University's Southern Campus in Ironton for one simple reason.
"I'm back here today because I want to finish the job," Clinton said. "I want to encourage everybody who supported me, to please go out and vote for the Obama/Biden ticket."
Clinton was stumping for Senator Barack Obama in southern Ohio, where she is definitely no stranger, especially to those who voted for her in the primary.
"I think I got 79.6% of the vote," Clinton said.
Obama supporters hope that kind of political pull will help make Ohio a blue state.
"I think after they see this they will change their minds and vote for Obama," Ohio University Freshman, Jacob Hock, said.
"It's what we really needed," Jessica Lucas said. "We needed her to say 'Stand behind Obama'."
Lucas says what Clinton has to offer more than anything else is experience.
"She can speak to them as a democrat, as somebody who's been through the experiences of being in office. I think that's the most important thing for undecided voters."
