Barack Obama and Joe Biden supporters came out by the hundreds to see the Delaware Senator.
Two year old Rowan Linscott was full of excitement.
While he may not fully understand the scale of this election, his mom Paula wanted him to be a part of the process.
Paula Linscott, Athens, Ohio, "We're really excited to see the message they have."
Melissa Bitttner, Columbus, Ohio, "We're really excited about this election and we just wanted to come out and show our support."
Candidates for president and vice president have been crossing the country drumming up support and talking about many issues but what about the issues important to West Virginia like coal.
Biden says we should be investing in clean coal.
Just last month when Biden was questioned about clean coal he had a much different tune.
So what's the truth?
Senator Joe Biden Vice President Candidate, "It's part of the future. It's an abundant resource we have and we have the technology capability of providing clean coal."
Only time will tell where all four of the candidates actually stand on the issues but voters like Linscott know exactly where they stand.
Paula Linscott, "Things I care about are education for my kids, being able to afford education, my husband is a college student."
