With Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin touching down in the tri-state, her arrival brings mixed emotions.
"Palin needs to go back home to be Governor, she can't run our country," Kathy McCormick said.
McCormick is a supporter of the Democratic Illinois Senator, Barack Obama.
Arlie Hubbard spoke with Gov. Palin briefly before she headed back on the campaign trail. He thinks the Vice President nominee, and Arizona Senator, John McCain, are the best choice for America.
"They offer hope, security, understanding of the world's problems, and the problems of this country," he said.
But protestors say McCain and Palin aren't looking out for the best interest of West Virginians.
"This ticket absolutely does not represent what working families in West Virginia struggle through everyday," Obama supporter, Sherri McKinney, said.
On a bigger, national level, protestors believe the Oval Office is too much for Gov. Palin.
"If they were elected, and McCain becomes President and died...could you imagine Palin running the U.S.? I can't," McCormick said.
But Hubbard can, because he believes Palin couldn't be more qualified.
"She's dead serious," he said. "She's done an excellent job in Alaska, and I think she would do an outstanding, excellent job as V.P. and I think she'd do a great job as President in four years after McCain and her finish this term."
"But before that can happen, Hubbard says supporters need to rally to make sure McCain and Palin get voted into office next month.
