A new movie at the box office is making some West Virginians very upset.
The movie "The Express", is said to be based on the true story, of the first African American to win the Heisman, Ernie Davis.
The problem with this movie for many West Virginians lies not in its portrayal of a great man and a great football player but in its accuracy when it comes to a game between Syracuse and WVU.
The movie is based in 1959, a year WVU and Syracuse didn't even play in West Virginia. The movie also shows WVU fans throwing things and cursing at Davis. That never happened either.
Enraged by the depiction of WVU fans, Governor Joe Manchin sent the movies producers a letter, telling them they should say the movie is false and makes West Virginian's look bad.
